Jackie Brethel

Camp Kippewa Point Director

As a lifelong camper and staff member, Jackie has held dozens of positions, partnered with hundreds of families, mentored scores of staff, and met camp friends from around the globe. A former early childhood educator, she began her full-time camp career at Camp Kippewa in 2010. Jackie went on to spend several years at Camp Cobbossee, and then Camp Danbee before returning to the sun kissed shores of Lake Cobbosseecontee to direct Kippewa Point!

Jackie is an active volunteer with ACA – NY/NJ currently serving as Program Chair of the Tri State Camp Conference and a Standards Visitor. She believes deeply that contributing to the larger camp community helps to make all camps more successful.

When she’s not at camp, Jackie can be found spending time with her nieces and nephews, trying out new recipes, and spending as much time as possible near the water!
