Mendy’s extensive camping experience includes roles ranging from camper to counselor, athletics director, and five years as Towanda’s operations director. Mendy brings nonstop energy and humor to the Towanda community, refereeing games and emceeing events.

Alana grew up at Camp Towanda, having spent her childhood summers here as a camper, as did generations of her family. With a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and nearly a decade of experience working with students with special needs. Her calm and thoughtful leadership style makes her the perfect “camp Mom”.

Together, they reside in Morristown, New Jersey, with their daughter Noa and their two dogs, Babs and Buddy.
